After much anticipation, Litegear is finally shipping their Litemat+ Plus Series fixtures and Expressway has just received our shipment!
The Litemat+ Plus series is a big leap forward for Litegear. The company that started making custom solutions and ribbon based lights has finally broken through to retail a fully flushed out fixture. The new series litemats come in all of the sizes you have come to love based on the classic Litemat 1. There are marked improvements in the Plus series that will make these fixtures a standard piece of the lighting arsenal.
With Litemat+ Plus, Litegear has finally done away with their Phoenix connectors and upgraded to a twist-locking head to ballast cable that coils cleanly and allows for a solid connection at all times. No more sparking wires, scared clients, and “broken” lights to be had.
In addition to the new design of the cable, LiteDimmer+ includes a battery power option for V or Gold mount built right on to the dimmer. These packs are quite a bit beefier but are still small enough to hang on the stand or tuck up in a drop ceiling for overhead rigs.
Last but not least, the new Litemat+ Plus feature their newly designed Cinemiter LED chips which are over 40% brighter than the old LED chips, and offer a super high color accuracy that will look great on camera.
