Bicycle Film Festival Returns to Philadelphia

// Event Date:

We’re excited to catch another year of the Bicycle Film Festival which enters its second year offering virtually accessible programs. The 22nd Anniversary of Bicycle Film Festival is making its Philadelphia stop of the festival available for streaming from Feb. 11 – Feb. 22, 2022.

Bicycle Film Festival

Brendt Barbur started the Bicycle Film Festival in 2001 to celebrate the bicycle through music, art, and film. Over the past 20 years, the BFF has traveled the world to over 90 cities, celebrating with over one million people. This tour goes from city to city, allowing audiences to see not only the global stories but their local city’s perspectives.

This year’s collection of short films was curated to appeal to not just cyclists, providing a journey around the world into different cities and personalities. The 90-minute short film showcases topics that delve into the unique human experience sharing the same focal point of cycling. The film explores authentic and raw stories such as a portrait of Bike Rides For Black Lives, the story of Julian Molina, the beloved, full-throttle one-legged cyclist, and other national and global accounts centered around cycling.
