New Product: Cineped Camera Support

October 3, 2017

There are few things that get the Expressway Cinema Rentals crew more excited than brand new gear, which is why we’re extremely excited to announce the addition of the Cineped Camera Support to our line of rental products. This new product offers a totally unique take on camera support and we are excited to be the exclusive supplier in our area.

What is the Cineped?

The Cineped is really in a class of its own when it comes to product descriptions, but if we had to narrow it down, it’s part tripod, part camera support, and part slider. What sets it apart from other products is the level of efficiency, stability and precision that can be felt with every camera movement as well as the versatility in the types of shots it allows you to capture. It’s truly a one-of-a-kind tool for DPs and Camera operators, allowing for rapid camera adjustments and dynamic movements beyond the capabilities of traditional Sliders.

What types of shots can you get with a Cineped?

The Cineped allows for the same side-to-side tracking shots and front-to-back slides you’re used to with traditional sliders but also offers the unique ability to rotate smoothly on its center axis allowing for even more dynamic shots.

The Cineped is able to produce these shots through a combination of slider and fluid head rotation that creates a new axis of motion. This allows for seamless transitions during takes that require continuous movement.
