Finally got the budget for that Alexa LF with 24-290 you’ve been waiting for? Need to mount a 6’ Slider to your dolly and not worry about breaking off the boom arm? Are you sick of putting the standing platform on the Fisher 11 for your DP when he could just as easily ride the boom up with the camera? Need an excuse to hire more grips to keep the shoot rolling smoothly?
Look no further! Expressway is now stocking the JL Fisher Model 10 Dolly.
The Fisher 10 comes in at a whopping 420lbs, but has a lifting capacity on the boom of 500lbs (With the center mount you can accommodate 1200lbs.)! That means your standard camera op and AC (no fatties) can ride up and down 7 times per charge with a 75lb camera package and still be cool. I can’t say the same for your dolly grip, who has to push all 920lbs down the track.
Though the Fisher 10 features everything you’ve come to expect from JL’s Model 11, the main thing to look out for is the size when you are on location. The dolly is 26.5” wide which means it will not fit through some of those pesky 24” doors that can be found in older homes. At 55” long, it is 15” longer than the Model 11 as well.
Overall the Fisher 10 is a beefy dolly capable of handling the needs of many different jobs both in studio and on location. Come by the shop for a demo today!
